The 'logical' blocksize really doesn't matter.
All data is stored in 'physical' blocks of 4096, regardless of the blocksize 
specified.

Don't bother.
The problem is akin to cluster sizes on PC's.
There is a minimum of 4K per member, regardless of the other attributes.
