I'd be glad to help you with this, but I need a bit more information.

Please show me an example of the records in your input file and what you>
expect for output.

Is there anything that identifies the header and trailer record, or do we
just
know that the header record is the first record and the trailer record is
the
last record?

What is the RECFM and LRECL of the input file?

What is the starting position of the count field in the trailer record?
