I seem to recall reading somewhere that ShadowImage could be used to assist in ESCON/FICON migrations. Basically that you could Shadow between 3990-6 and 2105 interfaces - PPRC (TrueCopy) requires like for like, but as this copy is within the sub-system...
Of course, now that I need to be able to validate it I cannot find any reference to it. Does anyone know whether it is possible to use shadowimage between a 3990 and 2105 interface?
