A mod-5: Variable

And, in a previous life I played around with PCOM's variable settings and
managed to create a 90x48 screen (small font was hard on the eyes).

Duh! He meant two at a time!

The primary (default) screen size is used when an Erase/Write (EW) command is issued. The alternate screen size is used when an Erase/Write Alternate (EWA) command is issued.

BTW, I use PCOM and set most of my screens to 62x132. I would go deeper (more rows), but ISPF 3270 support is *lame* -- supporting no more than 62 rows at the present time. :-( Others here that don't use ISPF much if at all use 72 rows, 90 rows, etc.
