Yep, that exactly what it mean.
Depends on what your companies other leased line applciation are. But
in the long run most likely. AT&T is migrating everything off of the
old SNA network on to their MPLS network, Internet, or Frame Relay.
Unless of course you build your own and just lease the phone circuts
from AT&T.
I would strongly suggest you contact your AT&T Global Network account
rep. asap. If you don't have one, contact your AT&T account rep.

Does anyone out there know about this? This announcement appears on the

| October 17, 2005
|
| AT&T has announced that Lease-Line and Dial-Up
| services will be terminated on December 31, 2005.
| Therefore, to gain access to IBMLink you will have
| to use our Telnet services with 3270 Emulation and a
| TCP/IP front-end. You can still access IBMLink
| through telnet: ibmlink.advantis.com or IP address:
| 204.146.168.209. If you have some additional
| concerns, you may call our Help Desk at
| 1-800-543-3912.
Does this mean what I fear it means? Am I going to lose the ability to
logon to IBMLink via a leased line SNA connection? Are my company's other
leased line applications going to stop working as well?
Brian
