1- Check for Differences between sysplex PI and local PI values. If there is too much difference then you may need to make them separate. The reason for this is WLM checks sysplex PI values first. 2- If you are using IRD again for better IRD decisions you may need to separate them. I personally prefer 1 min or 20 sec interval data to check these values but it can be seen from smf rmf records too I guess. I used this method and we got a significant improvement on service class PI values after we have done the seperation and also in IRD decisions . But as Peter mentioned too `it depends ` on platform .
