Nice thought - but remember I am a visitor wherever I am. Ain't my shop.
Hence my preference to use "standard" tools where possible.
May not be the best, may not be the fastest, but at least they tend to be 
available when I walk 
in the door.
And if that software/tool has a problem I want to be aware of it (in advance).
