That's wrong; you can generate EDIT subcommands in the REXX.

They would be if they were correct; in fact, the restrictions for
CLIST and REXX are the same; subcommands but not commands. Of course,
one of the subcommands that they can issue is TSO.

Well, it would be if the manual were correct.

It's probably true[1] for CLIST; I don't see how it could be true for
REXX.
[1] But it would be really bad style to do that.
