Maybe. Camouflage is very late to the z/OS party (but much better late than never, of course): http://www.datamasking.com/pressreleases.aspx?id=44 Gartner has a "magic quadrant" reporting methodology, not a ranking per se. And I can't find a relevant Gartner report anyhow. Here's Camouflage's most recent press release that I can find that mentions Gartner: http://www.datamasking.com/PressReleases.aspx?id=19 There's nothing mentioned about "first" or anything about a magic quadrant (or particular positioning). Likewise, Camouflage itself says only it's a "top 5" Forrester vendor: http://www.datamasking.com/PressReleases.aspx?id=40 I searched Datamasking.com (both in the search box on the Web site itself and via Google targeted search), and I can't find anything relevant concerning Gartner or Forrester. Camouflage might be fantastic stuff -- I don't know -- but I wasn't able to validate a "1st on Gartner and forrester" claim. - - - - - Timothy Sipples Resident Architect (Based in Singapore) STG Value Creation and Complex Deals Team IBM Growth Markets E-Mail: timothy.sipp...@us.ibm.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to lists...@bama.ua.edu with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
