We are installing z/OS 1.11 using Serverpac. Normal we issue 'CH S 100 * 100' command to increase the all datasets shipped on the RES volume. Could you tell us how to make sure which dataset on the RES volume really need to increase? Normal what do you do for it? Then I make certain that the secondary value is at least 10% of the primary and add up to 45 more directory blocks to PDS's. All this is based on experience going all the way back to IPO days, and before. I've found that this helps when I do future maintenance as well.
