b) lack of tools. Yes, you can keep your photos in PS files, but how
would you want to browse them? There is no "quick view" option in PDF,
I haven't heard about Qick Time for z/OS. <g>
Well, using z/OS UNIX files to store these kinds of files allows
you to use the various HTTP servers available on z/OS to serve
up the files to any browser; and it's the browser that will use
quick view, eh?
As I wrote, pictures can be stored in PDS members and retrieved by HTTP
server. The problem is the browser: I don't know any good browser for
ISPF, do you ? <vbg>
