This is my first post to this list. We are experiencing very high mips usage by a third party product - sysview/cacommon serices. Since I upgraded to Sysview 12.5 the GSSA(stc for common services) has been causing high spikes in cpu during various times of the day. Of course I am working this issue with the vendor but I thought someone may have experienced this at their site. We are running z/OS 1.10 - sysplex of 10 lpars, another with 7 and another with 3. Some of the cpus are z10s and a few are z9s. The previous releases did not cause any of these issues. Maybe there is a apar that someone knows of?
