The FM states for '0040': INOP-deact SAP Explanation: SAP has become inoperative. After quite a bit of digging, all I can find is that SAP means 'service access point'. But no clue as to what that really means. I don't see anything on the HMC/SE. Do I have some sort of hardware issue? XX501 is our primary network interface and mission critical.
