Monty, I had a similar task to do a while back and got several good tips from some very helpful people here including some REXX code, and pointers to a CPPUPDTE IBM tool. Take a look at IBM MAIN Archives and search for 'Mass Updates'. I ended up using some of the REXX code and the FILE-Aid product from Compuware.
