I tried it but got
IAT6108 JOB TESTJOBA  (JOB03531) FAILED BY INITIATOR      CN(INTERNAL)
IAT6108 JOB TESTJOBA  STEP=STEP1   ,PROC=NONE     CN(INTERNAL)

In my testcase the dataset did exist on the volume I specified but the
esoteric was the wrong one, as suggested.
