We are looking at upgrading from DB2 v8 to DB2 v10 next year, and my management has asked if DB2 v10 will end up moving any more processing to our zIIP engine. By the time we upgrade to DB2 v10 we will also be on z/OS 1.11. Does anyone have any experience with DB2 v10 making greater use of the zIIP engine, or is there a way to determine if it will in a particular shop?
