I suggest migrating to version 10, which has been around for more than a year. In V10, you can specify an IDIOPT csect that is its own lmod, avoiding the restore of the usermod just about every time you put on maintenance. Plus it consolidates all the different option usermods. Failing that, you will need to contact IBM/FA to get the right offset.
