a customer of ours has received a z/OS 1.12 Serverpac on two 3590 cartridges.
Cleverly, he does not possess such drives, only 3490 units.
Any ideas on how I copy the two 3590 volumes to 3490 output cartridges.
Don't go there! ServerPac has hardcoded file numbers and tape volsers.
It's possible to change it, but cumbersome and time-consuming. I would
strongly vote for electronic delivery in this case.
BTW: 3590 drives can be purchased for peanuts.
