What you need to understand about editors is that a lot of the
evaluation criteria are matters of personal preference; what you hate
someone else may love, and vice versa. In the specific case of
ISPF/PDF EDIT versus XEDIT, I find that *both* of them have features I
want that are missing from the other. I'd love to see an editor with
the functionality of both, with a few more knobs to customize
interfaces to match the idiosyncracies of users.
