Following is the allocation for one of our DB datasets... DSN=PROD.OSAM.DATASET DISP=(,CATLG), DCB=(RECFM=FB,LRECL=8192,BLKSIZE=8192), VOL=SER=(VOL1,VOL2,VOL3), SPACE=(CYL,(2500,400)) The three volumes, VOL1, VOL2 and VOL3, are part of storage class defined with 'Guaranteed Space = Yes' . The DB dataset got created with 3 extents and 7500 cylinders (2500 on each volume). My question is, if the DB dataset tries to grow beyond 7500 cylinders of initial allocation, will it get any secondary allocation of 400 cylinders?!
