I thought that pointing out mistakes, or differences of opinion, were the de rigueur sine qua non of this entire server, regardless of the subject. Typically, not every mistake is ever pointed out in any posting, only the most egregious. At least it seems that way to me when I compose a post. But when I read a reply to my post, I discover many mistakes that I made in pointing out the other's mistakes. The process never ends. It has taught me to laugh at myself as much as I groaned at the mistakes of others that I felt so strongly needed to be pointed out.
By the way, the arrest occurred in the garden near the building in which the seder (ceremonial supper) occurred, but not during the seder. "Supper having ended... they went out into the garden", or something like that. The arrest was in the middle of the night. The punishment (scourging and crucifixion) began the next morning, the execution happened in the late afternoon when a spear was used to dispatch Jesus, and all of these events occurred on the same day, namely Passover, since the "day" began at sunset (when the seder started) and lasted until the next sunset 24 hours later, from the Jewish point of view (but not that of the Romans). The first half of "a day" was the evening part, and the second half of the same "day" was the daylight part. At least that's what the canonized King James Version of the New Testament says.
