WHICH brings up another point. Ain't it a shame when great techs go over to management type positions? I see that Lionel has moved up (?) and will now be in the sales department at IBM (see: http://www.lbdsoftware.com/index.htm ) and will maintain the site for a while, but not advance or test what is there (see site for exact wording). It just strikes me as such a shame that the tech track often "tops out" too early. To advance in pay and/or position, one must move into management. My boss did exactly that, and while he is still a good boss, his tech skills have not kept up, so there are times I really miss having a tech cohort. There really needs to be more of an upward track for techs. I will miss Lionel's updates, but wish him well.
