Lizette, I don't believe you can remove the definition without an IPL. There's no "delete" or "remove" PARMLIB statement to make that happen. The only parameter on SETOMVS the 1.10 book talks about is RESET, but that only works to re-define a PFS, not remove it. Not even sure you can stop this type of PFS, but F OMVS,STOPPFS=psfname would be the command to use, if you can. D OMVS,PFS will show you what filesystems are defined and active/inactive. As long as the PFS in question is inactive, it should be unobtrusive.
