I would like to detect if an LMOD gets changed. Obviously I can UCL UMID
every CSECT, but that will not let me know if a new CSECT is added.

So far, everyone seems to have missed that the OP wants to be able to
detect an LMOD change with SMP/E, not via any manual or external process.

Yeah, sorry, I've been watching this thread too hoping some listener had a trick up their sleeve. Unfortunately I have no suggestions. I understand the desire, but SMP/E just doesn't roll that way. That is, you can't do to an LMOD what you would do for a MOD or other element, like apply a USERMOD that changes the RMID/UMID to cause an ID error.
