I am on your side but wonder if there is a "reason" IBM refuses to
give them out. Walt, I believe, had a reasonable response. Myself I
think IBM found a major hole in the code and don't want to be held to
fix it (what ever it might be) just guessing it would cause a rewrite
in say O/C/E (or DFP?) . They just are afraid of the expense and that
is why they have shut the door on it.
Just a guess.
