You should consider to change your IEASYSxx parameters. I run with
REAL=0,
RSU=0,
If you are not using dynamic storage reconfiguration, set the RSU
parameter to 0. If you don't have any jobs that run with ADDRSPC=REAL
set REAL to 0.

Subject: IAR005E problems
We've had 3 instances today when we received IAR005E messages. The
complete message is:
IAR005E PREFERRED AREA HAS EXPANDED, RECONFIGURABILITY AND PERFORMANCE
MAY BE IMPAIRED. CHECK RSU VALUE.
The system recovered, but was halted for about 5 minutes.
I checked the IPL messages and found:
IAR004I THE RSU PARAMETER WAS NOT COMPLETELY SATISFIED
IAR013I 1,920M STORAGE IS RECONFIGURABLE
RSU is set to 32
REAL is set to 256
The output from D M=(STOR,HIGH) is
STORAGE SIZE STATUS
HIGH REAL STORAGE ADDRESS IS 2048M
REAL STORAGE STATUS
ONLINE-NOT RECONFIGURABLE
0M-64M
1792M-2048M
ONLINE-RECONFIGURABLE
64M-1792M
PENDING OFFLINE
NONE
0M IN OFFLINE STORAGE ELEMENT(S)
0M UNASSIGNED STORAGE
We are running OS/390 v2.10 on a z890-320..
While this is happening on one system in the sysplex, the other system
complains about no access to the JES2 Checkpoint, but keeps running.
Can anyone help us resolve this problem?
TIA
Gadi
