Why would monoplex prevent XMIT from working? You're probably using
the wrong node name; check your NJE definition. Note that you need the
node name or number for NJE, *NOT* the VTAM node name or APPL name.

Any of FTP, XMIT or shared DASD should work if used correctly.
Firewalls might interfere with FTP.
