Contrariwise - always contrariwise! - I have a problem stopping myself!

I have another candidate! Take a look at the AFP to something transforms in
the "IBM Print Transforms from AFP for Infoprint Server for z/OS" manual and
ponder which of our hitherto two possibilities for the dread 3 letters might be
featured there.

Is it Unformatted System Services? - I don't *think* so!
Is it UNIX System Services? - I don't think so either!

Please try and moderate your language!

It's "Uniform Symbol(ogy) Specification"! Let's start some discussions over the
place of "USS" meaning "Uniform Symbol(ogy) Specification" in IBM-MAIN
sometime when it all gets too quiet!

Did I discover this in the "IBM Print Transforms from AFP for Infoprint Server
for z/OS"? Did I *! Google is your friend, the first "hit" with "AIM USS-39":

Incidentally note my brackets around "ogy". I guess there may be some lively
debate going on somewhere regarding whether the "ogy" belongs there or not!

That'll teach me to go sniffing around in the IBM bookshelves!
