Donald, MDBGJBNM should contain the jobname of the job under which the message was issued. If you believe there is a problem with this field please contact IBM service.
Your subject line asks about the jobname on the MCS console. Issuing the K S command on the MCS console will show the current MFORM settings. Adding a 'J' to the options will cause the jobname to be displayed before the message on the console.
