So I am working at cataloging my collection of older IBM documents, and came across:
2540 Card Read Punch Parts Catalog (121-0545-3) Picky question - can I assume that there should be an S prefixing the document number, as in S121-0545-3? I have noticed that my other S/360 (and later) Parts Catalogs are S(something). Did IBM just forget the S when typesetting? Do they imply it? Is there significance to the missing S? I need to know where to file it!
