I only need to persuade myself to turn on REFRPROT, and I will do just
that once I'm sure I can get out of that choice safely and easily (i.e.,
dynamically with a SET PROG= command).
IIRC REFRPROT only protects modules marked REFR, so if your module is
linked RENT, but not REFR, you will also need to relink your module
to mark it REFR.
