FWIW (pun intended), you could also Google for "FWIW" in case you can't remember that "FWIW" is defined in a "jargon file". Also, while you're in there, you might check out ITYM (see Shmuel's last sentence below). In fact, Google is an excellent place to start if you ever see a word "XYZ" that you don't recognize. Just Google for "XYZ". It also works with complex multiple-word computer topics and 10,000 other kinds of information.
