Folks,

As a final closure on this issue, I did find what was causing my I/O errors between the two channel attached SCTCs. It was a timing issue. The error occured when either of the programs on the two LPARs issued a write prior to the read being issued on the other side of the SCTC link. By inserting a delay in each of the programs where they turn around from input to output, I was able to elliminate the IOEs that were being generated. A special thanks to Mike Kerford-Byrnes whom I had an extended discussion with off list.
