Not all IBM-created SMF records are documented in the SMF Manual. Many only have a reference to their own product manuals; see the 115, 116, 120 WebSphere, 118, and 119 TCP/IP, examples. Other records point to a manual (100, 101, 102, DB2, DB2 Administration Guide) that contains no DSECTS - the DB2 records are only documented in the DSECTS in the MACRO LIBRARY for the product.
And 110 for CICS points to the CICS Customization Guide, which only has partial information, and only for the subtype 1; the subtype 2 data is only documented in the DSECTS in the MACRO LIBRARY. Some vendor products don't have "DSECTS" but instead have open systems "structures" (or whatever they are properly called), and I recall that some records are only described in the language of the product (Natural comes to mind, I think). Ain't nothing straightforward about locating the description of ALL SMF records, but ultimately between the users and the vendors, MXG does claim to support every SMF record "on the face of the earth". Merrilly Christmas to all. Seymore, The SMF record layouts ar in a GC manual. This also has DFSORT and a few other PP record layouts.
