Charles, I had to go back to the fine manual to see what you are talking about. In the post I got from you, the message said ..."contain a . PATH"... (note the "dot" before the word PATH). The way I read the post, you couldn't use the "." in a PATH parameter which kinda makes sense, as in how do you have a current directory in a JCL statement. Only when I went back to the book and saw where is was saying you can't use a PATH parameter at all did your post make sense to me. In that case, I agree completely with you.
