Anyone know a good book I can give a newbie to teach him Assembler??

Information about non-IBM Courses would also useful - (we are contacting
IBM to chase up their offerings, of course).

Note, we are in the UK

Andy,

Of course, I would be delighted to come over and teach
your newbie. But for one person I suspect it would not
be cost-effective.

We have developed a program we call Remote Contact
Training (or, of course, RCT) for just such small
training needs. Basically, we supply the student with
our standard course handout and work with a techincal
contact to set up your system to run the labs. Then
the student goes through the material at their own
pace and is connected to the course author by email
for answering questions, providing hints, evaluating
student solutions, and so on.

Surprisingly, Assembler has been our most frequently
requested RCT topic. Take a look at our website for
more information.

Hope this helps.
