Are they added before or after transfer? Show us the code page used and the file in hex BEFORE it is transmitted. >Is there a quick and easy way to remove all the nulls? John Gilmore gave you a good reply, but please state also WHAT are you using to do the actual transfer? I assume of course the file is looking 'ok'.
