Nobody mentioned another issue:
Licence fee is growith with the MIPS (or MSU).
It is quite obvious that avg MIPS base is constantly growith.
I don't know Microsoft prices, but I still need ONE licence of MS
Windows and MS Office for my PC. But during last 10 years "MIPS base" of
my PC increased significantly. During the period absolutely EVERY
maninfram shop I know also increased MSU, so they pay more even without
proces increase. And no, they usually DON'T do more business than 10
years ago, or at least it doesn't depend on MIPS base.
