bit.listserv.ispf-l is the Usenet echo of the ISPF listserv. You don't subscribe to it; you just read using your newsreader of choice and a Usenet server that carries it.
To subscribe to the actual list and receive messages automatically, send an email (from the account to which you want the messages sent) to [email protected] with the text SUBSCRIBE ISPF-L. Getting back to your original problem, when you bring up the member list, type an "E" to the left of the member name and a "/" at the start of the prompt field for the same member. This should bring up an edit options menu which might have the "M" command on it somewhere. :>: -----Original Message----- :>: From: IBM Mainframe Discussion List [mailto:[email protected]] On :>: Behalf Of Graham Hobbs :>: Sent: Saturday, January 28, 2012 9:13 AM :>: To: [email protected] :>: Subject: Re: Annoying ISPF prob :>: :>: Thanks, I tried the methods but nothing worked. :>: :>: John - Edit settings .. there was no M and Profile 20 said IMACRO NONE. :>: Lizette - the E /(##xx) gave me 'Invalid line command'. :>: How might I subscribe to bit.listserv.ispf-l ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
