Well, we did a services contract with IBM to get Global Mirror running, and the
knowledge transfer was, shall we say, less than impressive. As long as it is
working fine, there is no problem, but now that we are trying to deal with a
failure, we find a gap in our knowledge.

I am learning more about the copy services that I wanted to, but I can't seem
to find what to do to solve our issue. I have a document from IBM about
"Suspend Recovery for Global Mirror", and it tells you what to do in several
situations, none of which fits our case. Their situations have to do with the
Sequence number, and revertible status. Even though we have volumes with
Sequence number 0, or two other values, all volumes are Revertible = N.

When we try to start the Global Mirror session, it fails with a "Revert FLC
failed". From what I understand having read the documents quickly, the recovery
process is mainly designed in getting the volumes into the Revertible=Disabled
state, and it appears that is where we are, but we cannot get the session
started.

Can anybody give me a tiny push in the correct direction?

Thanks,
Neal
