Sorry, I was in too much of a rush to catch the van pool and did not get my point across clearly.
The setting I was trying to point out is the : Alloc/Migr Threshold Track_Managed... It would be so much easier if I could add a screen print but I haven't figure out how to do that in this forum just yet. Since we don't have a z/os 1.9 lpar anymore, I can't verify it but as far as I'm aware, this setting was not in the definition/alter screens for ISMF storage pool screen when we were on 1.9. Someone was kind enough to respond offline and point out to me that: I believe you're referring to the EAV support in z/OS 1.10 I see the fields you are referring to in 1.10 and 1.12 from the 1.10 manual : In addition to the break-point value setting, the storage group also : | lets you specify a setting for track-managed free space thresholds | (high and low). These thresholds are factored into the SMS volume | selection algorithms and DFSMShsm space management. Since we skipped from 1.9 to 1.11, I was just caught off guard because I did not see anything in the migration guide.
