Linux guests will get the time from the LPAR in which they run. In most cases Linux guests running on the same CEC will have synchronized clocks unless some sort of clock synch event occurred in between IPLs of various LPARs on the same CEC. You should consider NTP when Linux guests need to stay in synch across CECs.
