Apart from IEHINIT, are there any freeware or any available utility to
initialize the 3590 tape ? This is just a general question out of curiosity
:).
My environment :
Z/os : 1.8
CA1 has its own utility, RMM has EDGINERS utility, probably other TMSes
have their own utility as well. IMHO the most important enhancement of
those utilities is cooperation with TMS database, not the initialisation
itself.
Q: what do you want to do? What's wrong with IEHINITT?
