Why all the angst ???.
How is this any different to LDAP requirements for RACF ???.
Our LDAP server does not require RACF, unless you want to use it to
perform RACF administration. We simply don't provide a function
allowing you to administer the other security products via our LDAP
server, but that is not the same as requiring RACF.
On the other hand, if you want to use it as a traditional LDAP database,
serving data of your choosing to your clients, then you can use LDAP
native authentication functions or you can use any SAF-compliant
security product, not just RACF, to provide user ID and password checking.
