You're right about the authority problem. My intention is to only access
temporary datasets that have been passed to this step by a previous step, so
there would be no authority issue.
OK, so:
(a) what program is scheduling this SRB, and how does it know that there
was a previous step, and that the previous step passed some specific
data set?
(b) and when you say "passed" what do you mean? DISP=(,PASS)? If so,
I'd be surprised that you could do a DYNALLOC for such a data set,
though I cannot state definitively that it will fail.
Can you explain a little more about what you're trying to accomplish?
