If someone wants to try it at their own shop, I'm sure that it will be
educational. I'm a bit twiddler from way back, willing to get into the
trenches and change low level system behavior when there is a need,
but that's not something that I would consider without written orders
and an acknowledgement that I had warned of the risks. There are
probably less painful ways to self destruct. Read Chris's article and
take heed.
