I could/did have told you that in 1985.
As a capacity analyst, I told them that when they introduced tiered pricing.
This has screwed up the mainframe pricing model for 20 years!
The cost/butt is still better than the *NIX world, and much better than the 
WINTEL.

But, too many airline magazines have shown the alternate platforms to be 
better. And, IBM has done everything they coukld to reflect the M/F in the 
worst possible light.
