Don gets the big THANK YOU!  REPLACEUNCONDITIONAL is not documented in
the DSS reference manual but it does just what I need.  Hmm,
undocumented features.  I thought only M$ did that ;-)

As for the others, thanks for the replies.  Unfortunately I forgot to
make part of my request clear.  There are about 20 packs we need to do
this with and we are trying to get this set up so the operators can run
it (or schedule it to run automatically) without intervention.
