Big silly old you. According to the article, "the tech industry has come up with solutions ranging from more energy-efficient Xeon processors to liquid cooling of high-end server systems."
Much more efficient and less complex than your proposed solution, at least as long as you ignore reality. OTOH, I can see where the guys at Google are really going to have a challenge on their hands. Jon <snip> I'll leave it as an exercise to the reader about whether there's already an actual solution to these problems. I think the solution has been around for at least 10 years, in fact, and it has something to do with CMOS, IBM, and three levels of virtualization, although I can't quite figure it out. :-) </snip> ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
