Yes, but in my personal opinion, it is not very efficient supporting
multiple applications within our sysplex. Of course, every shop is
different, and it may satisfy your business needs. You can utilize the
Export / Import function.

The IMPORT process took entirely too long at the recovery site; therefore,
we have migrated most of our clients DR tape data out of the VTS to
physical 3490 and 3590 tape depending on the amount of data being backed
up. We use the VTS primarily for onsite (non-HSM) data.

Does anyone take VTS (IBM 3494) stack volumes to a DR site for
